Note: We used the Thames and Kosmos Crystals kit fully, and therefore went through the BFSU sections quickly in order to do this more hands-on. If you are to skip the kit, you would likely want to devote more time to the BFSU lessons A-9 and A-10. The kit is excellent and well worth the money.

Hi there! Looking for clarification on which kit you used for this unit. I found a T&K kit called Crystal Creations, but it only has 6 experiments instead of 15 (https://www.amazon.com/Thames-Kosmos-Crystal-Creation-Science/dp/B00B9BFU54). There's a kit called Crystal Growing that has 15 experiments (https://www.thamesandkosmos.com/index.php/crystal-growing)... I'm wondering if maybe they changed the name / rebranded? Does any of this look familiar to you?? Ack! ::laughing:: Thanks so much! :)
ReplyDeleteEither they changed the name, or I got it wrong in the first place. Getting it wrong seems more likely, since that box looks awfully familiar... It was the Crystal Growing Kit.

DeleteFound this kit on Amazon Warehouse for $11.07 and took a chance. It just got here... open box but everything present and accounted for. Score! :D
